The Winston-Salem State University (WSSU) Foundation is a dedicated nonprofit organization committed to supporting the mission, students, and long-term success of WSSU. Through fundraising, strategic partnerships, and alumni engagement, the Foundation works to provide financial resources that enhance academic programs, student experiences, and campus development.

What We Do

Recent Impact & Initiatives:

  • Scholarship Support: Expanded scholarship funding to ensure that more students have access to higher education without financial barriers.

  • Homecoming Fundraising Success: Launched the "Ramily Matters" campaign during Homecoming 2024, raising significant contributions to support university initiatives.

  • Athletics & Student Life Enhancement: Strengthened support for WSSU Athletics and student organizations, recognizing their vital role in student success and university pride.

  • Alumni Engagement: Hosted exclusive networking and social events to reconnect alumni with their alma mater and encourage philanthropic involvement.

  • Community Collaboration: Partnered with organizations like MadMiles for the WSSU Homecoming Fun Run, promoting health, community, and school spirit.
